Alisha Stamper
Founder of The 26 Project and a ROCKIN' large-format film photographer.
Sarah
I live in Portland and once thought the lyrics to "We Built This City" were, "My pony plays the mambo."
Corey Anderson
My name is Corey, although I fancy spelling it as "Quarry" on name tags to confuse people. I like music and The 26 Project, which allows me to rediscover the discovered. I am currently in Idaho, where I work doing lights for various shows and gigs that come around. I enjoy exploring for new music and am open to trying out anything.
Jennifer Burt (gaiJen)
A lover of the literary and friend to the mundane. Given to dilettantism and distraction. A Venus in a v-neck sweater.
Freya
I am a student of Psychology, a writer and a self-taught (and still learning!) web designer.
Pat Gamble
I'm a Native Portlandite/Stumpotownian resident of Little Beirut and I love to visit music stores and stand by the counter trying out guitars by playing stairway to heaven badly.
Jeremiah Ginn
I love music. It is my passion. I tend to focus more on the Musical Theater since it is my major in college (BYU), but I enjoy most all music.
Michael Holt
Michael Holt has been listening to and enjoying music since he was wee lad with his family in Vancouver, Washington (that's Vancouver, not Canada...Washington State, not D.C.). Although his parents attempted to infuse country music into his life from an early age, their attempts were quite futile; although he does have a fond admiration of the Dixie Chicks. Michael's music library is quite diverse, although a large majority of his albums are cast recordings of musicals, as Michael has performed on stage since he was 10 years old. Currently 22, he lives in Provo, Utah and is a senior at Brigham Young University studying Marketing in the Marriott School of Management. He stays busy attending classes, working as a spanish teacher at the LDS Church's Missionary Training Center, performing in various theaters (he's currently finishing a two month run of "Singin' in the Rain"), and visiting friends around the country and world. After graduation he plans on spending time exploring Europe and then continuing on to graduate school to study Theater Management.
Jason Hunter
In 5th grade I memorized the lyrics to Orchestral Movements in the Dark's "If You Leave" because I thought it was the perfect pop song. From that point forward I've being falling in love with a variety of bands and genres, devouring as much music as I can.
Scott Kaplan
My name's Scott Kaplan and I came for the connection and the music. Music is my therapy, my life soundtrack, and my passion but I can't play anything so I just listen and share. I'm thrilled to be a part of this, so hopefully people like what I have to offer!
Gabriel
Evolution of musical taste: Michael Jackson & Janet Jackson > Pearl Jam > Eric Clapton > Smashing Pumpkins > Rocket from the Crypt > The Beatles > Snapcase > Radiohead > the list goes on... Ten changed everything. That and constant ridicule from his peers for listening to Jackson Family music. Gabriel is a music enthusiast that keeps lists of every album he's bought, intends to buy and those coming soon. His Desert-Island-5 is a Desert-Island-10. He is a print and web designer (see current site example) currently residing in Richmond, Virginia with his wife and dog.
Matthew
Matthew is an I/T professional with aspirations of becoming a professional louse-about. He also enjoys pretending to still be a musician, using miniature figures to fight massed battles, and spilling his seed on the ground. His wife is truly his better half and plays roller derby so that together, their "coolness" is just about average for a couple their age.
Sandy
Sandy works, lives, and loves in Madison, WI where she's recently rediscovered her interest in live musical performances. When she's not playing roller derby, she's spending time with her very understanding and patient husband.
Sean
I was born and raised in the music industry (if you will), infused with classic rock, overvalued hits from the 80's (thank you Huey Lewis), Generation Y risk-takers (no one could scream in-tune like Kurt Cobain), and eventually playing the drums professionally. In the seventh grade, Jimmy Chamberlain (drummer) of the Smashing Pumpkins changed my life and I knew I would dedicate a great portion of my time following in his footsteps. In college, I applied for a job at a local record shop, though I couldn't name my Top 5 Albums; I didn't get the job. I still can't name my Top 5 Albums today. I currently reside in Richmond, VA with my fiance and dog and work for the Dept of Corrections in the Mental Health Dept.
