ne of the things I love about music is its ability to transport you to a different time or place, this week I spent a lot of time reliving some great memories. I took a trip back to freshman year of college with the Aquabats 48 hours with no sleep, 2:00 am runs to Denny's and really, really fun music. From there back to 16 and my first girl friend she lived an hour and a half away and every weekend I would be driving home at 1:00 in the morning in my little VW rabbit blasting Aerosmith to keep awake. And then to just a year ago right before I got married. I would wake up every morning and go jogging thinking about what the future held for me as I ran, with Angels and Airwaves giving me the energy I needed to keep moving. As I listened to the A artists this week all of the memories and emotions of those times came flooding back to me it was so great I can't wait to delve into the rest of the artists and memories waiting for me during the rest of this project.
